Historic Castner-Knott
Nashvillians Charles Castner and William Knott founded the Castner-Knott Dry Goods Company in 1898. In 1906 they moved to a new five-story building at the corner of 7th Avenue and Church Street. This Classical Revival-style building at 618 Church Street lured shoppers with 10 by 12 foot plate glass windows, a covered carriage entrance, and coffered ceilings. Renovations in 1999 uncovered many of the building’s historic details, including the original façade which had been covered by modern steel panels since 1979. The Castner-Knott Building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Historic renovation of the former Little Sisters of the Poor nursing home built in the 60’s and 70’s. The site contains 80,000 square feet of fully renovated original buildings used as offices for a BMG.
